The process of identifying, attracting, and motivating suitable candidates to apply for open positions inside a company is known as employee recruitment. It comprises a number of tasks, including posting job opportunities, identifying talent via multiple channels for an example social media, job portals, and referrals, tv channels and enhancing the employer brand to attract a large number of candidates. Building a competent team and making sure the company has access to the knowledge and abilities required for success depend heavily on recruitment.

Employee selection is the process of evaluating and choosing the most suitable candidate from the pool of applicants gathered during recruitment. It typically includes steps such as screening resumes, conducting interviews, administering tests or assessments, and performing background checks. The goal of selection is to find the right person who not only meets the job’s qualifications but also aligns with the organization’s culture and values. A strong selection process helps reduce hiring mistakes and ensures long-term employee retention.
